Well going a darker shade in the summer never really lasts for me. I like highlights in my hair, especially in the summer time. So I took it a couple shades lighter.
To lighten it up I decided to pull my hair through a cap, (i know I hate the cap too) I used the Loreal Quick Blue High Performance Powder. I mixed it with a 30 volume creme devleoper. and left it on for the maximum 50 minutes. I washed it out and then used a toner to tone down any brassiness. I used Clairol Professional Creme Toner #311 Towhead with a blue-violet base. I thik my hair looks great and I think this was a great deal for highlights you figure you pay 4$ for your quick blue pack and $4-6 for the toner so all in all you have almost $10 invested on highlighting your hair. That is a hell of alot better than walking into a salon and paying anywhere from $80-$150. With the money I am saving I can actually afford to put gas in my car, hahaha Yes, that was a joke. If you have any questions regarding haircolor give me a holler and I will help the best way that I can. Have a nice day ladies and remember treat yourself to some highlights.
